Meet Amber

I grew up watching my Father photograph weddings as far back as I can remember. I discovered my love for photography at age 14 when he gave me my first camera (Nikon N60). I later volunteered to shoot photography for my High School yearbook during my Junior and Senior years. After graduating I enlisted in the US Air Force as a photographer, which led me to basic training in Lackland, Texas, my technical training at Fort Meade, Maryland and finally assigned to Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. I was responsible for many different types of photography requirements thoughout the base. While serving I received an A.A. in Liberal Arts and a B.A. in Business Management. And I also met my amazing husband and best friend who was serving at Shaw as a videographer and who also has his own business Mixed Market Media. We soon discovered and fell in love with the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia. By 2005, we had made it our home. In January of 2011, it also became home to our son Noah (pictured above) when we welcomed him into the world and into our hearts. In addition to becoming a mom, I grew into a newborn photographer as well. I absolutely love being a mom! It is one of the hardest, yet most rewarding experiences- and there is nothing else like it in the world!

I am so blessed to have the opportunity to be doing what I enjoy, thanks to the support from my amazing family and friends! I love getting to know my clients and their families. Capturing memories for people over the years and watching those memories grow overwhelms me with gratitude. I love photographing an engagement session or wedding, and then a year or so later photographing that couples maternity, newborn, and family memories over the years! Every year I enjoy watching all the Babys First Year newborns grow into independent 1 year olds with a ton of personality!! Sometimes a couple years later- I get to see them become a big brother or big sister! I have been honored to build relationships with so many incredible families over the years
